NORWAY – It will be open mic night at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at the Norway Coffeehouse at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Main Street.

Sign-up for performers begins at 6:30. Admission is $3. There will be a collection of nonperishable food items to be given to the Oxford Hills Food Pantry to help it through the holiday season. Performers of all ages are welcome to bring and share their acoustic musical instruments, original music and poetry.

Non-performers are invited to attend to enjoy the entertainment. There will be vending opportunities for artists with merchandise for sale, and refreshments will be available.

Hosted by Maine performer and recording artist Heather Pierson, the open mic nights are also fund-raisers for local nonprofit and charitable agencies. For information phone Heather evenings at 207-935-4505.
