AUBURN – Turkey, ham and all the trimmings will be on the menu for the free Christmas day dinner at the Slamma Restaurant on Mill Street in New Auburn.

Owners Nicholas and Victoria Hewison, brother and sister, will be offering the meal for the third year to anyone who is hungry.

Homemade bread, rolls and stuffing will accompany the meal and they will have apple, pumpkin and blueberry pies and bread pudding for dessert.

“We can deliver to some of the people who can’t make it and if someone needs something to go they can pick it up,” Nicholas Hewison said.

He said the restaurant offered a free Thanksgiving meal and fed about 85 people.

“We don’t discriminate,” Nicholas said. “Everyone is welcome.”

The lunch will be served from 1 to 3 p.m.
