LISBON – Coombs Mountfort Post 158, American Legion, will hold an executive officers’ meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the post home.

AUBURN – Aubuchon Hardware stores in Auburn, Lewiston and Lisbon Falls will hold the third annual Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, Jan. 10.

The Auburn store will donate a portion of the day’s proceeds to the Androscoggin County Sheriff Department DARE Program, and the Lewiston store will donate to the Trinity Jubilee Center. The Green Thumb Gang will benefit in Lisbon Falls.

During the day, storewide discounts will be offered to increase store traffic; advertisements and fliers provide exposure for the charitable organization and encourage customer involvement.
