CHESTERVILLE – A New Year’s Eve party will be held from 7 p.m. to midnight Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Chesterville Grange. Food and dancing to the music of Harnden’s Band will be available.

A takeout special

NEW SHARON – A takeout bean dinner will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 3, at New Sharon Congregational Church. JAY – A financial-aid presentation for the parents of Jay High School seniors will be given at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the high school library.

Ron Milliken, director of financial aid at the University of Maine at Farmington, will present the information.
