BRIDGTON – In response to requests from mothers-to-be for a condensed version of the usual eight-week childbirth class, Bridgton Hospital will offer an eight-hour, one-day Saturday session.

The class will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, and includes lunch. The fee is $30 a person or $60 a couple, which is usually covered by health care insurance.

The class will focus on the process of labor, delivery, Cesarean birth, pain relief in labor and relaxation. It will be taught by Judy Barlow, RN, certified childbirth educator.
