TOPSHAM – Robert G. Burnham, 82, of 12 Stone St., Brunswick, died Thursday, Dec. 25, at Amenity Manor, Topsham.
Born in Bath, April 22, 1921, a son of Irving and Edith Travis Burnham, he attended Bath schools and lived in the greater Bath area most of his adult life.
He married Florence Dall in Brunswick, May 30, 1942. Mr. Burnham was employed at Bath Iron Works for 35 years, retiring in 1976. He enjoyed working in his yard, making crafts and collecting coins.
He was predeceased by a son, Stanley D. Burnham in 1990.
Survivors include his wife of Brunswick; a son, Mark T. Burnham of Watertown, Mass.; a brother, William Burnham of Bath; a sister, Betty Caylor of Texas; two grandsons and two great-grandsons.
