BRUNSWICK – The duo of Castlebay (Julia Lane and Fred Gosbee) will be joined by Nick Apollonio and Kristen Tescher for an evening of music in January by Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns.
It will be 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, in the Brunswick Unitarian Church 15 Pleasant St.
The four vocalists will be accompanied with various combinations of Celtic harp, fiddle, viola, guitar, cittern and woodwinds. Romantic love songs will be interspersed with drinking songs and lively dance tunes as well as anecdotes about Burns.
