Tripp Middle’s own guidance counselor Mrs. Kris Wing is starting up a game club. The reason for the game club is to keep the students of Tripp out of trouble. Mrs. Wing also wants to try to stop most of the students from getting demerits, detentions and Friday detentions. She also wants to start this club for kids who are not in sports

We stayed with Mrs. Wing to discuss the rules and regulations. One of the rules is you can’t have a detention a week before the club’s meeting. If you were to bring in your own game, the game needs to be teacher approved. Another rule is we cannot go on AOL.

One thing we are able to do is use our laptops. After we download a game it can not stay on the computer. It has to be trashed because we are not supposed to have games on our computer. This is the only way that we are able to download games. The teachers are afraid that we would play the games during school hours and that we wouldn’t pay attention. So after a club meeting we would have to trash the game, and the next time we wanted to play a game we would have to download it. The game club will start meeting in a couple of weeks.
