DIXFIELD – Alexa Kaubris scored 23 points and dished out eight assists and made five steals to lead Dirigo to a 68-38 rout of Madison in MVC girls’ basketball action Saturday afternoon.

Holly Knight chipped in with 13 points and Brooke Weston added 10 points for the Cougars (12-0).

The Bulldogs were led by Stephanie Rich with 10 points.

Forest Hills 41,

Eastgate 36

HINKLEY – Ashley Krukowski scored 13 points and Jessica Turner chipped in with 10 points to lead Forest Hills to a thrilling 41-36 win over Eastgate Christian in girls’ basketball action Saturday afternoon.

With less than a minute remaining and the score knotted at 36-all Kurkowski drove the lane sinking the layup and drawing a trip to the charity stripe to put the Tigers (4-8) up by three. The Eagles (9-2) were led by Brittany Legare and Emilee Michaud who scored 12 points apiece in the loss.

Proctor 46, Hebron 14

HEBRON – Katie Klauzenberg drained 14 points to lift Proctor Academy to a 46-14 rout of Hebron in girls’ hoops action Saturday.

Jen Schemerhorn contributed 10 points, while Emily Rolando tallied another eight for Proctor (6-2).

Abby Lavigne and Sara Powers scored the majority of Hebron’s (1-5) points with five and four points, respectively.

Kents Hill 48, Averill 12

HINCKLEY – Kents Hill’s Jackie Pershmann/Mannocchi drained a game-high 11 points and had 11 steals as Kents Hill pounds Averill 48-12.

Aleigh Mills also pitched in with 10 for Kents Hill (7-0). Kents Hill had 32 steals in the contest.
