BETHEL – Efforts are afoot to upgrade the transfer station in town and install a compacting unit.
That will be one agenda topic at the Tri-Town Solid Waste Committee’s meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, in the Bethel Town Office.
The committee has representatives from Newry, Hanover and Bethel.
Committee members are expected to review a plan to upgrade the station next summer. Engineer Scott Hynek is expected to do a presentation on the project.
An agenda will be available that day or sooner, time permitting, said Town Manager Scott Cole.
