• Jan. 16, 12:30 p.m. – Police assisted a Secret Service agent in finding a Rumford resident at 26 Falmouth St. regarding a Secret Service investigation.

• Jan. 14, 6:45 p.m. – Criminal mischief incident at 25 Maine Ave. According to the police report, a tenant, who had reportedly been evicted, caused damages expected to exceed several thousand of dollars.

Arrests

• Christopher Thibeault, 22, of Peru, on charges of operating under the influence (third offense), operating after suspension, failure to report an accident by the quickest means possible, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, and possession of a suspended license, on Jan. 16. He was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.

• Randall Chapman, 26, of Rumford, on charges in Paris of violation of a protective order, and violation of conditions of release, on Jan. 14. He was released on $200 unsecured bail.

• Craig Blanchard, 35, of Andover, on a charge of violation of conditions of release, operating after suspension, and a warrant alleging assault, on Jan. 13. He was transported to Oxford County Jail in Paris.

• Aaron Jackson, 18, of Rumford, on charges of criminal mischief and violation of conditions of release, on Jan. 12. He was transported to Oxford County Jail.

Arraignments are scheduled for March 2 in Rumford District Court.

Summons

• Brian Isemsee, 39, of Rumford, on a misdemeanor charge of cultivation of marijuana, on Jan. 12. He is to be arraigned on March 2 in Rumford District Court.
