LEWISTON – Abe Galonski and Sarah Burtchell have joined St. Mary’s Center for Physical Rehabilitation.
Galonski is a 1995 graduate of the University of New England in Biddeford. He began his career at The Daughters of Charity Heath Care, Columbia/St. Mary’s Sports Medicine in Milwaukee, Wis.
As a physical therapist with St. Mary’s in Wisconsin, Galonski provided direct clinical care for a wide variety of diagnoses. He also served as center coordinator of clinical education.
Galonski is a credentialed clinical instructor and has studied extensively through continuing education courses in techniques of manual therapy and sports medicine.
Burtchell is a 2000 graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. She began her career at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass., before relocating to Port Angeles, Wash., where she performed home health physical therapy and inpatient physical therapy at Olympic Medical Center. She completed a 30-hour course in functional orthopedics, which emphasizes exercise and manual therapy.
The physical therapist divides her time between acute care, D’ Youville Pavilion, and outpatient rehabilitation services.
St. Mary’s Center for Physical Rehabilitation provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services.
