AUBURN – The Auburn Peewees defeated the Lewiston Eagles 7-3. Richardson and Robitaille gave Lewiston a 2-0 lead in the first period, but Auburn tallied 7 of the next 8 goals, 4 by Matt Reed. Other scorers were Erik Wisutskie, Ethan Ward and T. Ferland. Wisutskie and Ferland drew assists.

Gray-NG/Poland bows

Gray-New Gloucester/Poland suffered 2 losses in weekend youth hockey action. GNG-Poland dropped a 6-4 decision to Marshwood. Matt McLeod netted 2 goals. Gardner Lajoie and Ben Piper added 1 each. Jake Trickey assisted. Sean Bilodeau tended goal. Joel Bergstrom collected a hat trick for Marshwood. . . Johnny Conant, assisted by Piper and Lajoie, scored the only goal in a 10-1 loss to Saco. Bilodeau again donned the pads.
