1914 – 2004
LEWISTON – Marie Ange Nadeau, 89, of 105 Summit Ave. died Thursday, Jan. 22, at C.M.M.C. after a short illness.
Born in St. Honore de Shenley, P.Q., Canada, July 4, 1914, a daughter of Alphonse and Marie Bolduc Roy she was educated in Canadian schools.
Mrs. Nadeau was a member of Holy Cross Parish and worked at the Bates Mfg. Co. and at Montello School Cafeteria retiring in 1976.
Being with her husband, family and friends was her greatest pleasure. Playing cards, sewing, and watching the Boston Bruins was among her favorite hobbies.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Albert Nadeau of Lewiston; a daughter, Constance Kirk of Waterville; a son, Ronald Nadeau of Casco; and a loving daughter-in-law, Linda; her grandchildren, Kim Bubar, Bill Kirk Jr., Robert Kirk and his wife Valerie, Lisa Keene and her husband Chip, Thomas Nadeau and his wife Amber; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerard Roy of Lewiston; many loving nieces and nephews and dear friends.
She was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
