AUBURN – The Auburn Peewees rolled past Waterville 9-1 Sunday at Colby arena. Scoring 2 goals each were Josh Prue, Eric Witsutskie and Matt Reed. Adding 1 apiece were T. J. Ferland, Matt Cote and Zachary Daigle. Assists went to Ethan Ward, Reed and Prue. Jacob Lapierre was the winning goalie.
Servpro Squirts edged previously-unbeaten Western Maine 3-2 Sunday at Bridgton. Logan Pushard, Ian Durgin and Travis Landry scored the goals. Credited with assists wer Isaac Reed, Devin McMahan and Landry. Western Maine is now 16-1-3.
Auburn Travel Squirts nipped Casco Bay 3-2 Sunday as goalie Jameson Finch made 23 saves. Dylan Nadeau popped 2 goals. Jordan Haskell had a goal and assist. Other assist-makers were Drew Lupardo and Brenden Giambra.
Auburn prevails
AUBURN – Dylan Nadeau collected 5 goals and Matt Reed added 3 as Auburn Middle School defeated Gray-NG/Poland 12-2.
Also lighting the lamp were Shane Hearn, Dillon Lyons, Colt Steele and Cam Obie. Assists went to Hearn (4), Lyons (2), Cody Violette (3), Steele, Tim Millett (2), Zach Daigle (2) and Cody Russell.
