TURNER – SAD 52 Adult and Community Education along with Central Maine Community College and L-A College will present Transition to College, a series of 12 classes for adults, and students in grades 11 and 12.

Classes will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. beginning Thursday, Feb. 5. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, Jan. 29.

Topics at the Learning Center in Turner will include Harrington-O’Shea career exploration, goal setting/time management, learning styles/assessment test, psychology of change, communication skills/conflict resolution, stress management, study skills, college and lifestyle financing, college application essay, access to ongoing college prep Math and English classes.

Topics at CMCC and L-A College include admission process, course catalog, tours, post-degree opportunities, math and English placement evaluations.
