Perhaps it might be a bit too soon for the Sun Journal to be congratulating itself on the new TV Preview. I’ve been through this new guide several times looking for the daytime scheduling. Is it possible you forgot to include it?

Quite by chance, I turned on the television recently and found rodeo/bull riding in progress. I like rodeos and would never have known by looking through the “improved” Preview that it was on. I checked your guide and it wasn’t listed in the sporting events.

How will I find out when NASCAR races are scheduled? Or any of the daytime schedules for FOX, TLC, LIFE, TNN and the History channels? Don’t tell me to buy the “TV Guide” magazine. I, like most of the daytime viewers I know, am retired and on a fixed income. Spending $2.50 to find out what is on during the day is not an option, especially when it was available free from the newspaper that I currently subscribe to.

Bring back the old-style guide that didn’t take up all the end table space. Add more pages if you must, but give us back the full daytime schedule.

This larger size will too easily get mixed up with the rest of the newspapers that get tossed out each day.

New and improved? Think again.
