AUBURN – Brian Leighton led a group of fouir players to finsd the net Wednesday evening as Leavitt defeated Lisbon/Monmouth 4-1 in local hockey action. Jimmy Cyr, Chad Chaisson and Cory Maillet also tallied single goals for the Hornets (7-9) to complete the scoring. KennyGauthier and Matt McBride split the goaltending duties for Leavitt, combining for 17 saves.

Derek Basil tallied the lone goal for Lisbon/Monmouth (0-12) at the 6:”30 mark of the third period. Leavitt put two in the net in the first and sealed the win with two more in the third.
