AUBURN – Central Maine Community College will offer a workshop series in Microsoft Office XP programs, including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint, starting Feb. 3.

Workshops, four to eight hours, will offer beginner, basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Participants will receive a workbook and CD with additional exercises and skills practice. Certificate of Completion and Continuing Education Units will be awarded.

“Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint are still the most popular programs used by businesses today. The XP version has a number of new features that make the programs more user-friendly,” said Michelle Lefebvre, corporate training coordinator.

She added, “Participants from previous workshops were thrilled to learn shortcuts, advanced functions and new tools to improve their efficiency at work.”
