LEWISTON – Supporters of Howard Dean for president will gather at locations across the country on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Dean Visibility Day will take place at 4 p.m. on Main Street in Lewiston and at hundreds of locations where thousands of Dean supporters will simultaneously take action to raise awareness of the Democratic presidential candidate in their communities.
“In 2004, Democrats must decide: Who will stand up for you? And who will stand up against George W. Bush?” said Gov. Dean. “As president, I will stand up for you. I won’t just say it. You know I will do it, because I have done it. We can stand up for all Americans if we stand together.”
Supporters will participate by convening on Main Street in the Lisbon and Park streets area for one hour with signs and spirit.
