LEWISTON – Lewiston Royal Flooring Peewee Travel Tier II hockey team picked up 2 wins in recent action. Lewiston toppled Penobscot Valley Hockey Club 6-1. Donnie Larrivee, Brett Bisesti, Sam Cloutier, Trevar Haefele (2) and Brian Elie scored the goals. Assists went to Matt Lamare (2), Larrivee, Cody Lessard and Alex Stone. . . Lewiston also edged Bangor 2-1 as Haefele and Lessard scored, with Parker assisting. Cam Poussard and Josh Charest shared the net duties. Dylan Pomerleau played solid defense in both games.

The Lewiston Peewee Pirates finished second to the Lewiston Eagles in the recent Marlboro Tournament in Massachusetts. During the weekend, the Pirates earned 2 more victories. Eagan Nadeau and Josh Smith each tallied 2 goals as the Pirates beat the Lewiston Bears 7-2. Ryan Urquhart, Patrick Collins and Cam Obie also lit the lamp, with assists credited to Obie (2), Smith and Jared Bourgoin. Willie Tyler tended goal. . . The Pirates whitewashed Midcoast 9-0 as Obie and Smith each notched a hat trick. Brian Lagasse and Collins added 2 goals apiece. Assist-makers were Smith (3) and Urquhart. Tyler and Logan Van Vlack took turns in net.

St. Dom’s girls win

LEWISTON – Erica Vanderwerf and Erica Dorso both tallied 2 goals to lead the St. Dom’s girls hockey team to a 5-1 victory over Greely. Bri Landry scored the odd goal. Assists went to Tessa Matthews and Brit Michaud (3). Danielle Therriault was the winning goalie.
