RUMFORD – RAQ (Rumford Area Quilters) will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at the Rumford United Methodist Church, Linnell Street.

A potluck supper will be enjoyed and those attending are asked to bring their own place setting as well as a contribution to the meal. Note the change in time for this meeting only.

Remember to bring one (or more) completed 12 half inch heart motif square for a drawing.

Valentine party

RUMFORD – The Mexico First Baptist Church, 20 Roxbury Road, will be holding a valentine’s party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, in the church fellowship hall.
