9 a.m., dog sled demonstration race, CMCC.

9 a.m., downhill mountain bike races followed by the Avalanche of Mountain Bikes, Lost Valley. $15 fee. 1st place, $75 and a case of Red Bull; 2nd place, $50; 3rd place, $25.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m., children’s indoor carnival, inside the gym at CMCC. Arts and crafts activities, moonbounce and games.

11 a.m., snowshoe race registration; races start at 1 p.m., CMCC. $2 fee.

Noon to 3 p.m., sleigh rides, CMCC.

Noon, snowboard and ski freestyle demo, Lost Valley.

Noon to 2 p.m., public skating, Ingersoll Arena. Adults, $3; students, $2.

All afternoon, slope-side barbecue, Lost Valley (Weather permitting).

1 to 3 p.m., Maine Ski Challenge Races, Lost Valley.

1 to 4 p.m., Free snowshoe and crpss-country ski lessons, CMCC.
