1920-2004

LEWISTON – Lucille N. Poulin, 83, formerly of 26 Victor St., Lewiston, died Saturday Feb. 7, at Marshwood Health Care Facility following a long illness.

She was born in Caswell, on March 2, 1920, the daughter of Theodore and Sadie (Gerard) Cantin and had been a resident of this community for most of her life.

She was educated in Caswell schools. She was employed in the shoe industry as a stitcher for many years until her retirement. She married Henri Poulin on May 30, 1942 and he died on May 14, 2002. She was a member of Holy Family Church. Mrs. Poulin was a devoted mother and homemaker.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing beano. Among her interests were tending to her flowers and gardening.

She is survived by: five sons, Gerald Poulin and his wife, Dale Ann, of Poland, Laurier Poulin and his companion, Lynn Eberhard, of Lewiston, Robert Poulin of Poland, Maurice Poulin and his wife, Sandy, of Lewiston and Roger Poulin and his wife, Irene, of Lewiston; one brother, Pete Cantin of Sabattus; one sister, Rolande Blais of Lewiston; eleven grandchildren, Louise, Christopher, Tina, Paul, Donnie, Mandy, Patrick, Scott, Kenneth, Ronald and Michael; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
