PORTLAND – Nolan T. Williams, 3, of 47 Perkins Road, Mechanic Falls, died Saturday Feb. 7, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Our Eternal Father chose him as one of his beautiful Angels after seven months of battling with cancer.

Nolan was born in St. Mary’s County, Maryland on March 26, 2000, the son of Nelson Williams of Oxford, N.C. and Brenda (Denonville) Williams of Auburn. The family now resides in Mechanic Falls.

Nolan’s favorite things to do were camping, boating, fishing, canoeing, going to church, playing with little trucks with trailers, driving his little truck around the neighborhood and racing his buddy “Mr. Mike.”

His favorite song was “Put Your Happy Face On.” He especially loved to visit his grandparents where he would tease and challenge his Pepere and watch Scooby-Doo with his Memere.

He is survived by: his parents of Mechanic Falls; three brothers, Nicholas, Nathan and Nigel, all of Mechanic Falls; maternal grandparents, Maurice and Lorraine Denonville of Auburn; uncles and aunts include, Gary and Linda Denonville of Greene, Ricky Denonville of Canton, Clint and Linda Magoon of Lewiston, Lula Williams of Keysville, Ga., Johnnie and Virginia Williams of Oxford, N.C., Rose Cheston of Oxford, N.C., Jessie Williams of Fu-Quay, N.C., Augusta and Verlene Williams of Boston, Mass., Reginald and Roma Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; a host of great uncles and aunts, cousins and close friends.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Johnnie and Geneva Williams of Oxford, N.C.; two close cousins, Eric Denonville of Greene and Stevie Williams of Boston, Mass.
