Accidents
Lewiston

• Vehicles driven by Amber M. Cyr, 17, of Auburn, and Earle D. Varney, 29, of Turner, collided at 12:10 p.m. Feb. 3 in a parking lot at the Lewiston Mall on East Avenue. Damage to the 1995 Plymouth, driven by Cyr and owned by Judy Cyr, was estimated at $10,000; to the 2001 Mack truck, driven by Varney and owned by Pine Tree Waste, of Mechanic Falls, $500.

• Vehicles driven by Walter A. West, 83, of North Yarmouth, and Philip A. Trundy, 59, of Buckfield, collided at 10:25 a.m. Monday at East Avenue and Pleasant Street. Damage to West’s 2001 Buick and to Trundy’s 1996 Dodge was estimated at $9,000 each.

Auburn

• Andrew K. Knowles, 44, of Durham, reported an estimated $3,000 damage to the 1993 International Harvester he had parked at 10:17 a.m. Monday at Mac’s Grill on Minot Avenue. The truck was struck by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene, according to a police report.
