In this movie, there was a lot of action, and there was a lot of sadness. Here are my opinions on The Return Of The King.
This was the final movie in the series, the one to tie everything together. I would say that the producers did an excellent job. They followed the book well, and did it with some humor.
As before, the graphics were great The artists had a lot of work to accomplish the animation of the creatures in the book. Making things come to life based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s descriptions may have been hard. Even so, it was fantastic,
In the second movie, there was a certain order to the scenes that were different than the plot of the book. Film-makers leave a set of companions at a cliff hanger, cutting off some of the scene in the book, not finishing it all until later in the movie. This is done for suspense. The same effect was used in the third movie.
Some things were left out of the movie, but it would be too long if everything were added. There were some false things there too. These were small enough not to have an effect on the movie though.
Altogether, I would rate this movie four and a half stars. I cannot wait for the DVD, and hope that everyone enjoys it as much as I did.
