Dear Sun Spots: This is my first time using this, so I hope there might be a few readers out there that can help me.

On Monday, Jan. 26, at 6 p.m., WCSH Channel 6 aired part one of a segment on our Maine National Guard 133rd Engineer Battalion that is stationed at Fort Drum, N.Y., awaiting to be deployed to Iraq. I was fortunate enough to see part two that aired the next day, but missed part one and do believe my son is in this first segment. I know that both of these aired again on Saturday, Jan. 31, and Sunday, Feb. 1.

If there are any readers out there who might have taped the first segment, I would gladly reimburse any amount for a copy. Thank you for your time. – B.G., Dixfield.

Dear Sun Spots: On Tuesday, Jan. 27, there was a picture in the business section about a new and used bookstore that just opened called “The Page Turner and Pages Already Turned” on Lisbon Street. It did not include an address or telephone number. Since it just opened, there would be no telephone number in the phone book or no address. Could Sun Spots supply this?

Also, I asked Sun Spots earlier about 14-inch red or blue handkerchiefs. I received two replies, one from a lady who offered to sew me some with material she had, which I accepted. Also, a lady called and talked with my husband to get our address to send us two that she had. She did send them, but I forgot to keep her address on the envelope. I would like to thank her and, if she would like postage for sending them, would she please call me at 926-428l? I appreciate all the help you have given me and enjoy your column above all else in the newspaper. Thank you. – B.T., New Gloucester.

Dear Sun Spots: I am looking to give away several hundred golf magazines to someone who truly would like all or a part of them. I have: Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Golf for Women, Golf World, Golf Tips and more. I can be reached at (207) 639-4296. I really don’t have the heart to throw them away. The basic lessons in them are good for all ages. I can help arrange for delivery. Thanks for the service. – Winona Davenport, Phillips.

Dear Sun Spots: We would like the locations of the companies that sell in-ground flagpoles. Also, there was someone showing flagpoles at the Fryeburg Fair last fall. If possible, we would appreciate the name and location of this exhibitor. Thank you for any help you can give us. – No Name, No Town.
