RANGELEY – Saddleback is geared up with a February vacation week full of events and entertainment. Every afternoon after skiing/riding, the lounge will come alive with music. The rock n’ roll band Elmore Twist will kick off the week Saturday, Feb. 14, starting at 3:30 p.m. There is no cover charge.

Saddleback Family Fun Day on Wednesday, Feb., 18, will feature a variety of events and demonstrations throughout the day at no charge to families. There will be toboggan rides, a scavenger hunt, a lollipop race, wood carving, Smokey the Bear, ice sculptures, live music and a kid’s corner in the base lodge. In the lounge beginning at 4 p.m., adults will be able to hear the classic rock ‘n’ roll by the Tom Ball Band.

Saddleback’s patrol will put on its annual torchlight parade at about 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, followed by their spaghetti dinner. The price for the dinner is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 years and younger.

On Saturday, Feb. 21, the reggae group Mystic Vibes from Portland will perform in the lounge.

Sunday, Feb. 22, the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge will be held, with contests, games and prizes for the whole family.
