LEWISTON – The Franco American War Veterans will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the Multi-Purpose Center. The meeting had been scheduled for Monday, which is a holiday. The Multi-Purpose Center is closed that day.

Friday meeting

LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, Auxiliary will meet at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at the Multi-Purpose Center. Members will discuss the American Legion birthday in March, upcoming events and dues.

LEWISTON – An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave. Although walk-in donors are welcome, potential donors can call Volunteer Services at 777-8369 to make an appointment.

Bird fanciers

NORTH MONMOUTH – The Northern New England Bird Fanciers will meet at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Community Center, Main Street, to discuss the New England spring show, which consists of a mini-judging of birds.

A light luncheon will be provided at noon for anyone wishing to attend.
