Incidents

• Feb. 14: A Stihl chainsaw, valued at $800, was taken from a Rumford residence sometime on Feb. 12.

• Feb. 12, 6:38 p.m.: A Rumford Center resident reported that someone broke into his home and stole several items, totaling $6,000. The forced-entry break-in occurred sometime between Feb. 10 and Feb. 12.

• Feb. 11, 12:30 p.m.: A Pine Street resident reported that someone stole a 30.06 hunting rifle with scope from his unlocked vehicle sometime during the morning hours. The rifle and scope are valued at $350.

• Feb. 10, 6:45 p.m.: A 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier sustained $2,500 damage after its driver, Katherine Capponi, 23, of Rumford Center, collided with a moose on the Andover Road. The moose left the scene and was not found.

Arrests

• Robert Hussey, 23, of Rumford, on a charge of operating under the influence (second offense), on Feb. 15. He was released on $500 unsecured bail.

• Matthew I. Newell, 20, of Hanover, on a charge of operating after suspension, on Feb. 14. He was released on $300 cash bail.

• Candice A. Radcliff, 22, of Rumford, on a warrant for failure to pay fine on a charge of theft, on Feb. 12. She was released on $42 bail.

• Kristopher L. Boyle, 18, of Rumford, on a charge of disorderly conduct, on Feb. 12. He was released on $400 unsecured bail.

• Dallas Holder, 27, of Lewiston, on a Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of assault, on Feb. 12. He was released on $2,500 surety bail.
