WILTON – A Main Street resident reported Sunday that someone kicked in the door to his house either late Saturday or early Sunday.
Wilton police officer Ed Leahy said the door to the house, which is downstairs in the garage, was damaged.
One set of footprints in the snow led up to the door and then away from it, Leahy said.
The resident said he didn’t hear a thing, Leahy said, and nothing was missing.
In another incident, there was a report in Jay of an attempted burglary on Saturday on Main Street.
Jay police Chief Larry White Sr. said a resident told police it looked like someone attempted to jimmy open the door but nothing was missing in that case either.
