PARIS – Shirley S. Miller will be the speaker at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, Sunday, Feb. 22. Her sermon topic will be, “Who Do They Say We Are?”
Organ music begins at 9:50 a.m. with the service beginning at 10. Music will be under the direction of Forest Perkins, church organist. Sunday School will be in session and child care is provided.
The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

PARIS – The Oxford Hills Camera Club will have as guest speaker local photographer Murad Sayen at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the Forum at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
Sayen will present slides and talk about his book “Maine, The Home Place” and briefly about his relationship to photography and Maine. He will then answer technical questions.
In the event that the Adult Education Program should be canceled due to a storm, the meeting will be rescheduled. The public is invited. There is no charge.
Ash Wednesday
WATERFORD – An Ash Wednesday service will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Waterford Congregational Church. The public is invited to the community service.
Antique jars
LOCKE MILLS – The Greenwood Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at the historical building. John Hathaway will give a talk on antique fruit jars and other vintage glassware. The public is invited.
