Leavitt Men’s League
TURNER – Ben Alpren Machine maintained its 1 game lead in the Leavitt Area Men’s Basketball League Sunday with a 155-85 victory over Gemini Nutrition. Shawn Spadea poured in 48 points and Dan Coleman added 26. Gemini, with just 4 players, was led by John Stanton with 39 and Justin Perron with 24.
Fred Dilligent netted 17 points to lead second place Dubord Realty-Ranor to a win over Lost Crusaders. The game was cut short due to injuries and less than 4 players.
James Whirley collected 35 and Josh Morin added 30 as Ruff Riders turned back Sturtevant & Ham Insurance 123-72. Mike Lance (23) and Mike Adams (19) led the Insurancemen.
Lisbon Road Animal Hospital edged Shooters 101-100 as Mike Grahm netted 29 and Rory Dupuis 19. Jimmy Davis sparked Shooters with 27. Dave Ferraro added 24.
Feb. 22 schedule at Leavitt Area High School: 5 p.m., Shooters vs Dubord/Ranor (Gemini works as refs); Lost Crusaders vs Lisbon Road Animal Hospital (Sturtevant & Ham works); 6:30, Ruff Riders v Gemini (Shooters work); Sturtevant & Ham Insurance vs Ben Alpren (Cruasders work).
