TORONTO – Jason Kidd tied a season-high with 15 assists and Richard Jefferson had 20 points to help the New Jersey Nets set a franchise-record with their 12th straight victory, 91-72 over the Toronto Raptors on Friday night.
New Jersey coach Lawrence Frank improved to 11-0. Frank set an NBA record for the best start to a coaching career by winning his 10th consecutive game on Wednesday.
Kerry Kittles added 19 points for the Nets, whose previous longest streak came Dec. 23, 1982, through Jan. 12, 1983.
Donyell Marshall had 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Raptors, who have lost four straight.
Jazz 92, Knicks 78

Facing a Utah Jazz team that exposed their new weakness, the New York Knicks played one of their worst games of the Isiah Thomas era and lost 92-78.
Magic 102, Nuggets 98
ORLANDO, Fla. – Juwan Howard had 24 points and Drew Gooden added 16 points and 12 rebounds to help the Orlando Magic overcome Tracy McGrady’s ejection and beat the Denver Nuggets 102-98 Friday night.
McGrady was ejected for twice kicking the basketball into the stands at the end of the first half.
He was upset there was no foul call on his buzzer-beating layup.
Cavaliers 89, Spurs 87
CLEVELAND – LeBron James scored 32 points, Zydrunas Ilgauskas made a key putback in the final minute and the Cleveland Cavaliers caught Tim Duncan on an off night for an 89-87 win Friday over the San Antonio Spurs.
The Cavaliers survived a frantic final minute to snap San Antonio’s six-game winning streak and drop the defending NBA champions to 5-1 on their seven-game road trip.
