PORTLAND (AP) – Francois Methot had a goal and two assists for Portland, while Krystofer Kolanos and Peter Ferraro each had a goal and an assist for Springfield as the Pirates and Falcons skated to a 3-3 tie Friday in the American Hockey League.

With the tie, the Pirates (22-17-9-7) have earned points in 11 straight games. Entering the third period trailing 3-2, the Falcons (17-28-7-2) evened it when Ferraro scored at 7:28.

The game was 1-1 after the first period, with Chris Ferraro scoring for Springfield and Methot connecting for Portland.

Graham Mink and Colin Forbes netted goals for the Pirates in the second period and Kolanos scored for the Falcons.
