1985 – 2004

PORTLAND – Devin Connelly Burnham, of 15 Cleaves St., Auburn, began his new journey on Feb. 20, in the arms of his mother, father, sister, and girlfriend following a brief illness.

He was born at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston on Oct. 12, 1985 at 10:11 a.m., the son of David and Gloria “Jeanie” Burnham, and baby brother of his sister Shane.

His life was full of people to whom he taught so many things. Through living with his illness, he gained tremendous strength and courage. That strength and courage inspired all who knew him.

He was currently a member of the Senior Class of 2004 at Edward Little High School, and was looking forward to getting his driver’s license. He enjoyed traveling with his father, shopping with his mother, spending time with his friends and going to rock and punk shows with his sister.

He also enjoyed playing bass guitar in his most recent band, Bent Like Bob. His loves in life were his guitars, his girlfriend Megan, friends, family and his dogs.

He leaves behind his parents, Dave and Jeanie Burnham of Auburn; his sister, Shane Burnham, also of Auburn; his girlfriend of one and a half years and the love of his life, Megan Harris of Auburn; his maternal grandmother, Alexina Caron of Sabattus; his paternal grandmother of Lewiston; his “Bro,” Mike Leclair of Auburn; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dogs Lars and Jazz, who will miss him dearly.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfathers, Albert Lachance and Paul Caron; his paternal grandfather, Carroll Burnham; and two cats, Skittles and Midnight.
