WELD – The Town Office will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 24, for a workshop. The office will reopen for regular hours Thursday, Feb. 26.

Blues concert

FARMINGTON – Don Emery and Steve Levine will perform Mississippi Delta blues from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, in Nordica Auditorium at the University of Maine at Farmington. The Wednesday concert series is free, but donations are accepted.

Benefit supper

FARMINGTON – Future Business Leaders of America and American Sign Language students at Mount Blue High School will serve a spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in the high school cafeteria. It will include spaghetti, salad, rolls and butter, drinks and dessert. The price is $6 per person or $20 for a family of four. Proceeds will benefit activities of both clubs. The Future Business Leaders students plan to attend their annual state leadership conference. The sign language students are raising funds for their planned immersion week at Austine High School for the Deaf. The public is invited. Musical performance

FARMINGTON – The Galliettas, a family of musicians from Thomaston, will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 29, in Trinity United Church. The family has been performing for about 10 years, traveling as far as Pennsylvania.

The concert is open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken.
