RUMFORD – Oxford County Democrats will announce the complete slate of delegates and alternates for the May Democratic State Convention at their meeting Thursday. It will begin with a beef stew supper at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Eagles Hall on Oxford Street in Rumford.

Ticket prices are $4 per person. County Chairwoman Cathy Newell will announce the list of newly-elected town chairpersons for the county. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a briefing on Maine’s Dirigo Health Plan by Adam Thompson of the Office of Health Policy, followed by the business meeting of the County Committee. Anyone interested in electing Democrats in 2004 is welcome to attend.
