TURNER – The top 2 teams both picked up a victory Sunday in the Leavitt Area Men’s Basketball League.

No. 1 Ben Alpren Machine rolled past Sturtevant & Ham Insurance 155-76. Leading scorers were Shawn Spadea (44), Dan Coleman (34) and Jason Leclerc (33). Mike Hathaway led the Insurancemen with 26. Chris Williamson added 23.

Second place Dubord Realty/Ranor knocked off Shooters 120-82 as Aaron St. Pierre netted 27 and Mark Belanger 24. Heath Crocker paced Shooters with 20. Chris Randall and Chip Webster added 18 each.

Elsewhere, James Whirley scored 31 and Josh Morin 25 as Ruff Riders beat Gemini Nutrition 113-71. Seth Warren collected 24 for Gemini.

Rodney Powell tossed in 17 to lead Lisbon Road Animal Hospital to a 99-71 win over Lost Crusaders. Adam Butler led Crusaders with 19.
