1930 – 2004
VALDOSTA, Ga. – Wilfred E. Curtis, 74, of West Paris, passed away on Feb. 16, in Valdosta, Ga., on his way home from Florida.
Born Jan. 31, 1930, in East Stoneham, the son of Ervil Curtis Sr. and Catherine Littlefield, he attended schools in Stoneham and Norway High School.
He served in the Air Force and lived in Spokane, Wash. He worked in the construction business and came back to Maine in the early 1990s and made his home in West Paris.
Survivors include four sons, Wilfred Curtis Jr. of Clarkston, Wash., Richard Buswell of Litchfield, Chester Curtis of Oxford and Lee Curtis of Spokane, Wash.; one daughter, Joyce Smith of Buxton; one sister, Anita Moulton of Oxford; three brothers, Ivan Curtis of Wilmington, Mass., Philip Curtis of Virginia Beach, Va., and Keith Curtis of Spokane, Wash.; and his companion, Dorothy Sisson of West Paris.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lucille; his parents; and two brothers, Ervil Curtis Jr. and Alton Curtis.
