DIXFIELD – Neighborly Senior Citizens met Feb. 18 at the Dixfield American Legion with 80 members and guests present. The meeting was called to order by President Connie Tutlis followed by the singing of “God Bless America”.

Following a potluck dinner, entertainment was provided by Barry Wood. Door prizes were won by Geneva Raymond and Raylene Richard. New members are Lois Barnett, Elaine Hutchinson, Daveen Houghton, Betty Wing, Sandra Frost, Morton Frost, Rosabelle Tifft, Martha Sweatt, Ralph Spencer and Connie Spencer.

Having February birthdays were: Carol Gallant, Glen Tripp, Diane Holman, Irene Newell, Georgette Holmquist, Hector Girardin and Blackie Parisi. Get well cards were signed for Marjorie Harlow, Marie Bernard, Clayton Davis, Theresa Myles, Kitty Flaherty, Bob Patnaude, Sam Skibitsky.

The next meeting will be held Thursday, March 17. New members are welcome. It was announced that space is available on the following trips: March 8, St. Patrick’s Show at Indian Head; April 1, Sugar Shack at Lac Megantic; April 7 and 8, Mohegan Sun/Foxwoods; March 26, Disney On Ice in Portland. Pick-up points will be in both Mexico and Dixfield as well as a stop in Bethel for the Indian Head trip.
