DIXFIELD – Selectmen face a lengthy agenda at their 4:30 p.m. meeting Monday, March 8, in Ludden Memorial Library’s community room.

New business includes a report from resident Brenda Turbide about the town’s water issues, a tax sale, a junkyard permit for Edward Barbioni of East Dixfield, and county taxes.

Norine Clarke, chairwoman of the Dixfield Economic Development Council, is to talk about the River Valley Expo as well.

And because the meeting is the first of the month, department heads from fire, police, Public Works and the library are to give their monthly updates on municipal business.

Additionally, acting Public Works Director Tim Hanson is expected to report on last Tuesday’s state inspection of the town’s water system, a sidewalk sweeper and Harlow Park.

An executive session is scheduled for a personnel issue.

Upcoming meetings include a Water System Public Hearing on Monday, March 22, at the selectmen’s next regular meeting.
