CARRABASSETT VALLEY – The Carrabassett Valley Republican caucus has been called by Charlotte Zahn for 7 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at the Carrabassett Valley Town Office.
It is open to all enrolled Republicans and the registrar of voters will be there a half hour before the caucus for those presently unenrolled and desiring to participate. All local Republicans are welcome to attend the caucus and take part in the political process.
The purpose of the caucus is to elect four delegates and four alternates to the 2004 Maine Republican State Convention on May 14 and 15 in Augusta; to elect two members to the Franklin County Republican Committee; to organize and elect members to the Carrabassett Valley Republican Town Committee.
Following the caucus, the Republican Town Committee will meet to elect officers.
