LEWISTON – The Many and One Coalition will host a Mexican cooking class and a potluck social on Saturday, March 13, at Trinity Church, 247 Bates St.

Both events are free and open to all interested people. The cooking class will be presented by Nathan Palmer from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Attendees will watch Palmer prepare a dish in the Trinity Church kitchen and will receive a copy of the recipe to try at home.

The potluck social will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Anyone who is interested is invited to prepare a dish of his or her choice, with ingredients listed on an index card if possible, for the potluck.

Both events are a great way to meet people in the community as well as to sample some new foods, organizers said.
