1905 – 2004

LEWISTON – Marie A. Rouillard, 98, of Russell Park Manor and formerly of 46 Jones Ave., Lewiston died Saturday, March 6, following a short illness.

She was born in St. Methode, P.Q., on March 24, 1905, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Bolduc) Rodrigue.

She was employed as a fancy stitcher in the local shoe industry.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church, the Ladies of Holy Cross and an active member of the Retreat Movement at St. Paul’s Center in Augusta.

She was the widow of Roland W. Rouillard who died on Dec. 26, 1992.

She is survived by one daughter, Rolande Marcotte and her husband Leonard of Orr’s Island; two grandchildren, William Marcotte and his wife Connie of Scituate, Mass., and Renee Williams of Worcester, Mass.; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Sonia Marcotte on Aug. 3, 2002.
