LEWISTON – The Post 22, American Legion, membership meeting on March 18 has been changed due to the fact that the post will celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the American Legion on Friday, March 19, at Post 31, American Legion, Washington Street, Auburn.
A short business meeting will take place at 5 p.m. followed by a social hour from 5 to 6 p.m. A dinner will be served by Unit 22 Auxiliary from 6 to 7.
There will be dancing to a live orchestra from 7 to 10 p.m.

Installation set
AUBURN – A new slate of officers for Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will be installed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.
Patricia Rea will be installed as worthy matron and Stephen Broas as worthy patron. Gloria J. Bowen, worthy grand matron, will be installing matron assisted by William H. Stretton, worthy grand patron, as installing patron.
Other installing officers will be Stephanie Dupal, marshal; Corley Anne Byras, grand secretary, chaplain; Ellen Parady, organist; Josephine Dupal, district deputy grand matron, Star Point ceremony.
Refreshments will be served in the dining hall following the installation. All Eastern Star members, Masons and friends are welcome.
OES session
AUBURN – An announcement of the appointive grand offices and district deputy grand matrons for Alice P. Webber, associate grand matron, and Phillip M. Hubbard, associate grand patron, will be made Saturday, March 20, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.
A social hour will be held at 11 a.m. followed by a lunch at noon, served by Pine Cone Chapter 26, OES. The announcement will be made at 1 p.m.
The lunch is by reservation. All Eastern Star members and guests are welcome.
Estate planning
LEWISTON – “An Overview of Estate Planning in the 21st Century” will be the subject of a program being offered from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, March 26, by Central Maine Healthcare.
Tom Fogarty, vice president for development at Central Maine Healthcare, the parent company of Central Maine Medical Center, will provide an overview of estate planning.
The presentation is open to the public.
The program will be held in the Chairmen’s Rooms, 12 High Street Medical Office Building, Lewiston. Lunch will be provided.

Contest leader
AUBURN – Mary Anderson, CES, of the cardiac rehabilitation unit at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, is the coordinator for the American Heart Association fund-raiser being sponsored by the Bernard Art Gallery in Auburn.
Those entering the contest can draw a picture of a horse and win $100.
