NORWAY – Whitmore Insurance Agency is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathleen Morse as office manager for the Norway branch.

A licensed property/casualty agent for both personal and commercial lines of insurance, she has worked in Whitmore’s Auburn office for the past 15 years.

Morse was named 1986 Insurance Woman of the Year by the National Association of Insurance Women, Androscoggin Valley Chapter. In 1987 she earned designation as Certified Professional Insurance Woman.

During her career with Whitmore Agency, Morse was named 2003 Producer of the Year for in-house commercial lines sales and has won sales contests repeatedly. Her expertise includes directors and officers liability insurance, business auto policy, business owners policy, employment related practices liability and commercial property.

Whitmore Insurance, a division of Cross Insurance, represents several insurance companies, allowing them to write all lines of property and casualty insurance. Cross Insurance has 20 offices in Maine and New Hampshire.

Morse received her associate degree in business management from Mid-State College in Auburn in 2002. She resides in Mechanic Falls with her husband and children.
