HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Timely hitting from Jared Lemieux and a strong effort from pitcher Mark Bulger combined to give Bowdoin College a narrow 2-0 win over Roger Williams College in collegiate baseball action Tuesday afternoon.
Kevin Bougie’s RBI groundout in the fifth inning sent Ivan Lucuk across the plate to put Bowdoin (2-0) on the board.
Lemieux smacked a towering solo home run in the seventh inning to seal the victory.
Bulger threw seven strikeouts and allowed just seven hits on the mound to earn the win.
