JAY – A Jay man is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday after he was arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl.
William Belanger Jr., 20, of Soules Road was being held Wednesday at Franklin County jail on $5,000 cash or $20,000 of real estate.
Police Chief Larry White Sr. said he charged Belanger with gross sexual assault Tuesday night.
Belanger turned himself in Tuesday at the Police Station, White said.
